News from BECA
Two hundred twenty paper Common Scholarship Applications and their corresponding Excel files were received by the March 15, 2012 deadline. BECA volunteers have copied and distributed the applications to the 30 different scholarship providers. Now, it's up to those providers to make their decisions. Some may contact applicants to set up interviews.
BECA itself also has 18 scholarships to award, and members are busy reading student essays and getting ready to make their decision.
The providers will contact their scholarship winners and invite them to the awards ceremony, to be held on May 11th. Good luck to all who applied.
